Global Youth Service Day is the largest service event in the world and the only one dedicated to youth! Each April millions of youth from over 100 countries organize and participate in service projects to create positive change in their communities. 😳
Hanover‘s Department of Community Resources will facilitate Global Youth Service Day in Hanover County by coordinating service projects and mobilizing more than 7000 volunteers to participate. 😳
The Spring Harvest Food Drive is hosted by many schools and gives all students the opportunity to participate in Global Youth Service Day!
We are blessed to have the privilege of partnering this year with this amazing group and being the beneficiary of the Spring Harvest Food Drive in three of our local schools from March 25 through April 26, 2019.
